Background
Virgin Money, based in Norwich, required office space in London, which could be used for meetings and provide hot-desking for their employees when working in the City.
Requirement
V3 Commercial’s design team accompanied Virgin Money to a range of London properties, and helped to design floor plans and layouts to find the most suitable property. This helped the Virgin Money team make the decision to take the office space at Carlise Street, W1.
Once office space was located V3 met with members of the Virgin Money team to discuss their main requirements for the office and how it needed to reflect both the Virgin Money and Virgin brands. Key requirements included
- 2 Meeting Rooms
- Satellite desking – Providing an easy base for staff visiting London.
- Board Room.
- Tea point facility, incorporating space chill out area for staff.
- Incorporate corporate colours of red, black and white.
- Incorporate prominently booth the Virgin and Virgin Money logo’s

Planning
Once the V3 team had a clear understanding of the requirements their design team started working on a wide range of floor plans and initial designs to present back to Virgin Money. All the clients’ key requirements were incorporated into all the designs.
Pre Contract
Before any works on the premises in Soho could take place, V3 undertook both Landlord Approvals for the work and all building regulations works that required sign off. Once complete the V3 team could enter the site and begin the tight 5 week project.
Works
All work at Carlisle Street was completed both on time and on budget.
